These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Free Competition Eraser (the "Service"), operated by Pro Bono Legal, LLC, also known as LawTegic Solutions Media ("LawTegic," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind any business you represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account.
2. The Service
The Service ingests publicly available content from URLs you submit, applies AI analysis, and produces a diagnostic report containing scores, identified issues, and recommended actions. The Service is provided as a marketing diagnostic tool only.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit URLs you are not authorized to analyze or that you know to contain unlawful content.
- Use the Service to violate any law, third-party right, or published terms of any analyzed website.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security controls.
- Resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product.
- Upload malware, send spam, or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.
4. License
Subject to these Terms, LawTegic grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. All right, title, and interest in the Service, including software, models, prompts, and report templates, remain with LawTegic.
5. Your Content & Reports
You retain ownership of the URLs and inputs you submit. You grant LawTegic a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process those inputs to deliver the Service. You may use generated reports for your own internal business and marketing decisions.
6. Fees, Billing & Merchant of Record
The core scan and report are currently provided at no cost. LawTegic may introduce paid tiers, usage limits, or done-for-you implementation services with separate pricing and terms. Pricing or feature changes will be communicated before they apply to your account.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, refunds, billing, taxes, and invoicing. Payment, billing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. LawTegic does not warrant that the Service, scores, or recommendations will be uninterrupted, error-free, or will produce specific business results. See our Disclaimer for additional limitations specific to AI-generated output, financial estimates, and legal/marketing advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAWTEGIC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. LAWTEGIC'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID LAWTEGIC IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless LawTegic from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your inputs, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute not subject to arbitration is the state or federal courts located in Florida, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
